Privacy Policy

1. Overview

KidCloset ("the App") is developed and operated by Smart Fox ApS, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

You can use KidCloset without creating an account, in which case your data is stored locally on your device. Creating an account is optional and enables cloud storage, so your wardrobe stays backed up and accessible across your devices.

2. Data we collect

If you do not create an account, the App stores all information you enter — including clothing items, photos, notes, and collections — locally on your device using your phone's built-in storage (AsyncStorage). In this case, we have no access to that information.

If you choose to create an account, you sign in using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. We receive your email address from these providers solely to create and identify your account. We do not use your email for marketing, newsletters, or any purpose other than account access and support.

The following information is securely stored in the cloud and made available across your devices:

• The email address provided by Google or Apple when you sign in
• The clothing items, photos, notes, and collections you add to the App

This data is stored using Supabase, a secure backend infrastructure provider. Supabase stores data on encrypted servers and does not use your data for any purpose other than providing the App's services to you.

3. Photos

If you choose to add photos to clothing items, those photos are stored locally on your device unless you have created an account, in which case they are securely stored in the cloud as part of your account data.

4. Analytics and tracking

The App does not use any advertising networks or third-party tracking technologies. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

5. In-App purchases

KidCloset offers in-app purchases, including optional one-time donations to support the developer and auto-renewable subscriptions for features such as cloud storage. These transactions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) using their own payment infrastructure. We do not receive or store any payment card information.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies apply to these transactions.

6. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat — manages in-app purchase state. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — provides secure cloud storage and authentication for accounts that choose to enable cloud storage. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

7. Children's privacy

KidCloset is designed for parents to use on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Any details about a child (such as clothing size or name of an item) are entered by the parent and are treated with the same protections as the rest of the account data.

8. Data deletion

If you have not created an account, you can delete all your data at any time by deleting the App, since everything is stored locally on your device.

If you have created an account and want it deleted along with all associated cloud data, please email us at smartfox@smartfoxapps.net with your account email address, and we will process your deletion request.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make changes to how the App handles data, we will update this page and clearly communicate any significant changes within the App.
